Coach Brown begins his coaching at BHS this season but he is no stranger to Bremerton Football.  In his younger days, Coach Brown coached at Warren Avenue pee-wees in the mid 1980's, coaching many former Knights.  Coach Gillam was not one of them but he did know of Coach Gillam as a youth at Warren Avenue.

Coach Brown's coaching career took him to West Seattle to coach youth football and Junior Varsity for Cheif Sealth HS in the White Center neigborhood.  His work with Cheif Sealth helped prepare him for coaching back in Kitsap County.

Coach Brown then moved to Vancouver, BC and was out of coaching for a short time.  Upon his move back to Kitsap County, Coach Brown wanted to get back into coaching and immediately wanted to help at Bremerton HS.  His connection to Warren Avenue and Coach Gillam sealed that decision.

Coach Brown will be helping with the Mountain View MS program as well as Varsity on Friday nights.
