Everything Goes Right for North Perry 'D'
North Perry "D" may have been invited into South's house, but then they tried to move in altogether. Things couldn't have gone more right for both sides of the ball in the "Gator Pit". North Perry's success proved to be quick reads by the linebackers, a cromagnon like defensive line and ends and corners who wrapped up everything that SK threw their way, unless the quarterback got sacked in the process. N. Perry 'C' Defense
Ruled the Roost
The South Kitsap (G) offense had no answer for the stifeling N. Perry defense and wound up with a plethera of negative yardage, incomplete passes, QB sacks, fumbled pitches, and a turnover or two. SK obtained perhaps three first downs, total. Additionally, South also lost their starting quarterback in the first half, with an ankle/leg injury. (more>>)

Warren Ave B-Level Tested at Jamboree
Warren Avenues B-string team shows up to Chico field for the 2008 Jamboree with eight returning players and twenty brand new to football. They played fairly well against Tracyton in their first showing with some long runs on offense. They moved the ball up the middle with their big full back Trevon Noel and were able to sweep the ends with Davon Fowler and Justin Petty. A passing attempt by quarter back Ricky Deffert fell to the ground but he made up for it with a long scramble to the left on a broken pass play for twelve yards. The defense did well holding Tracyton to a few yards and giving up the only touch down to Tracyton. Tracyton scored after a fifteen yard sweep to the right set up a one yard fullback run off tackle for the touch down. The Knights didn't fair as well against South Kitsap in the second game as South was able to move the ball at will against a tired and confused looking Warren Ave. The Knights offense didn't fair any better and fell time after time to pressure from up the middle. The Head Coach Brad Adams told his team after the game that he saw things he liked and didn't like. Nothing that can't be fixed next week before the season opener against South Kitsap White at Carpenter Field Saturday the 13th at 6 pm.
