The Bremerton PeeWee football associations, of which there are four, are members of the Kitsap County PeeWee Association and compete against teams from the North Mason, South Kitsap, Silverdale, and North Kitsap areas. Warren Ave. PeeWee's is the oldest of the four associations and draws its players from the central Bremerton area. It's home field is Carpenter Field, at the corner of 11th & Warren Ave. Chico PeeWee's is the westside association and operates from their home field near the Naval Hospital. North Perry and East Bremerton PeeWee's share the eastside of Bremerton, the area across the Warren Ave. bridge. East Bremerton practices and plays their games on the former Bremerton Jr. High field. North Perry's home is Carpenter Field, across the street from the Jr. High, behind the library.

Warren Avenue's Going to Miss Betty Carpenter
The late Frank Kedrick gave birth to it, nourished it for many years, and when he left the Warren Avenue Pee Wees were sustained by a slew of good people, not the least of which were the Carpenters — Murrel and wife Betty. Murrel died of a heart attack 14 years ago, but Betty, sorrowful as she was, kept on giving to the organization. Sometimes she was a lonely figure at the clubhouse at the corner of 11th and Warren Avenue in Bremerton, doing what she always did, gluing the pieces together so kids could have a place to play. 'C String' Freight Trains Collide at Chico
Two of the leagues powerhouse teams, the North Perry Gators and Chico, met in a undefeated head-to-head match-up on the dirt of Chico Field late Saturday evening. From the opening kickoff, the tension in the air was thick, as the mid-season match-up had the intensity of a championship showdown. When the final whistle sounded, one team still have their perfect record (5 – 0), and the other team went home with a blemish to contemplate. (more>>)

Gators Earn Decisive Hat Trick at Home Opener
Saturday morning may have started off cool and clear but things quickly heated up, especially on the Ostrander Field, home of the North Perry Gators.  All three Gator teams bit down on their opponents and did everything but drag them under water and perform a death roll.  Victory by all three teams leave the North Perry Pee Wee Football Organization, as a whole, with a 7 win and 2 loss record, with mid-point of the season approaching next week. North Perry "C" Wins Much Anticipated Match-up
With SK

After a mediocre offensive performance last week, in a 6-to-0 victory over SK (Grey), the North Perry Gators walked onto Givens Field, in Port Orchard, Saturday, for the much anticipated “C” String match-up with the South Kitsap (White), with a purpose, to redeem themselves. And redeem themselves they did. (more>>)

Every Silver Lining Has a Few Clouds
For the first time in 10 games, the North Perry “D” String left the field without a victory under their belt.  The 21-to-20 squeaker, won by South Kitsap (W), had parents and coaches from both teams on the edge of their seats the entire time. It was a nail biter from the opening kickoff, all the way to the last tick on the clock, and the longest “D” string game this writer has ever seen, coming in at just minutes shy of 2 hours.  More penalty flags were thrown than the United Nations, divided nearly equally between the opponents. Warren Ave .500 in Week 2
The Warren Ave Knights went .500 this Saturday, winning 2 of 4 games against the North Kitsap Teams.  The D-string, coached by Cy Pauly, won for the second consecutive week, and moved to the top of the standings with a 2-0 record.  Their speed and good discipline were too much for North Kitsap (B), and they walked away with a 37-to-0 victory. South Kitsap (W) Too Strong for Warren Ave 'B'
Warren Ave 'B' came out strong on both sides of the ball.  Giving up a big play for a touch down in the first half and shut down South Kitsap (W) team for the remainer of the period. . . Big plays were to tell the story for the Knights, as the defense would give up a couple touchdowns on long 3rd downs situations. (more>>)
