Week Football Schedule (.pdf) - photo courtesy of Kitsap Sun

This season marks the 103rd year of football at Bremerton High School.

In 1910 the Union High (predecessor to Bremerton High) football team was coached by Washington State native and Puget Sound College graduate , Manning Cox. The team posted a 1-3-1 record and played their home game on the Marine Grounds at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

The 2010 Bremerton Knights will once again be coached by Bremerton Alumni Nate Gillam, returning for his 6th season as head football coach, the 5th longest tenure in Bremerton football history. The Knights will compete in the new realigned Olympic League (2A) against longtime rivals Klahowya Eagles, North Kitsap Vikings, North Mason Bulldogs, Olympic Trojans, Port Angeles Roughrider, Sequim Wolves, and recent newcomer the Kingston Buccaneers.

Prep Football Kickoff: Like It or Not, Eight is Enough in the Olympic League
If the Olympic League were to invent a motto for the 2010 football season, it might read: Olympic League football 2010: It’s not ideal, but it’s not all bad. The Olympic League begins a new chapter this year. For the first time since the 1980s, the Olympic League will be one league for football. (more>>)
